In smaller production units, it is often crucial that the drive can be fitted easily, connected reliably, and keep a steady rhythm in operation without unnecessarily sharp response. Precisely for this type of application, the electric motor 1AL-80M2-8 with an output of 0.25 kW is intended. It is an 8-pole model with a rated speed of 645 rpm, so its character is not fast and aggressive, but calm and stable. In practice, it therefore works well in equipment where material is conveyed, dosed, mixed, or rotated in a regular rhythm. Typical examples can include smaller feeders, conveyor branches for piece goods, closing stations, labelling modules, turntables, circulation pumps, light mixing units, ventilation assemblies, sorting units, or simple packaging mechanisms. Everywhere there, it is important that the motor does not work nervously, but predictably.

Installation, space and mechanical integration

This model uses a frame size 80 mm, which is a favourable solution for compact machines and technology modules with limited installation space. The smaller dimensions simplify integration into equipment where every centimetre matters, for example in drive-equipped switchgear assemblies, side conveyors, dosing of bulk mixes, or auxiliary sections of packaging and filling lines. For mechanical stability, 6204-2Z bearings are used on both the DE and NDE sides. In operation, this means confidence during longer running periods as well as repeated duty cycles.
