H17R-355-B-4-6 delivers high power density for lines that must run reliably even under long-term load. This 1400 rpm electric motor with an output of 400 kW is suitable where stable torque, firm starting parameters and careful management of energy costs across the entire technological system are expected.
Compact 6000 V electric motor for high load in a single frame
In practice, machine-room space and easier installation into existing technology are particularly decisive. This solution is therefore designed as a compact 6 kV motor that transfers full output in H315 to H560 frames without unnecessarily enlarging the drive unit. For operators of large factories, this means lower requirements for construction preparation, more straightforward connection to distribution systems and better control over the overall drive layout.
4-pole electric motor with balanced operating behaviour
A rated speed of 1488 rpm corresponds to characteristics that are practical for many technological nodes involving pumps, compressors and conveyor systems. This 4-pole electric motor helps keep the operating regime in a stable range while retaining sufficient reserve for dynamic load changes. A power factor of 0,88 and efficiency of 95,5 % are beneficial wherever energy consumption is monitored throughout complete production shifts.
When designing the system, it is also worth monitoring behaviour during starting and peak load. Rated torque of 2567 Nm together with rated current of 46 A gives technicians a basis for sizing protection and switching components. Starting current of 6,3 % and breakdown torque of 2,3 % help with coordination for frequency-controlled or direct starts according to line requirements. Copper strip in the rotor cage reduces losses, supports thermal resistance and extends the intervals between maintenance interventions in demanding cycles.
HV electric motors for technological systems with voltage selection
For OEM manufacturers of large technological systems, the ability to adapt the drive to the network without compromises in integration is important. This solution belongs among HV electric motors and allows voltage selection according to the project, with variants of 3 300 V, 6 000 V, 10 000 V and 11 000 V also available. Within one family, this creates room for a uniform machine-room design, simpler spare-parts management and a clearer service standard.
Design prepared for long operating cycles
Insulation class F together with temperature rise B provides reserve for demanding thermal conditions arising in metallurgy, energy and heavy material processing. A weight of 3290 kg and rotor moment of inertia of 6,8 kg·m² give the drive stability that is beneficial when starting systems with high inertia. 6322-C3 bearings on both the DE and NDE sides support smooth running under long-term load and reduce the risk of unwanted downtime.
Additional condition monitoring is also designed for maintenance and helps service teams respond before small deviations affect production. Available accessories include 6 x PT100 in the winding, 1 x PT100 in the NDE bearing, 1 x PT100 in the DE bearing, an anti-condensation heater and 3 x PTC thermistors. Such equipment is useful in operations where winding and bearing temperatures as well as humidity during shutdowns are monitored.
