In heavy industrial operation, where continuous running, stable torque and energy costs are decisive, H27R 5004-8-6 delivers exactly the output that large drives require. This 700 rpm electric motor with an output of 1250 kW, supplied from a 6000 V system, is intended for applications where high efficiency has a direct impact on production economy and the overall operating balance.
The H27R-HD-Modular series uses IE4 Super Premium efficiency, which helps limit energy losses under long-term load. The welded steel frame increases the rigidity of the entire assembly while facilitating handling of the motor in large technologies and helping maintain stability under demanding installation conditions. In the HV drive category, the motor therefore naturally also supports long-term energy efficiency.
The motor design uses a three-phase winding, robust bearing assembly and standard thermal protection and monitoring, which are important during high-power operation. The stator winding is impregnated using VPI technology, supporting resistance to both electrical and mechanical stress. Monitoring commonly includes PT100 sensors in the winding and bearings, PTC thermistors and 230 V anti-condensation heating, so the motor better handles shutdowns, colder environments and repeated starts.
H27R 5004-8-6 reaches a rated current of 148 A, rated torque of 16045 Nm and rated speed of 744 rpm. A power factor of 0,85 and efficiency of 95,9 % provide a balanced basis for large technological units where both drive efficiency and operational reliability are monitored. Insulation class F combined with temperature rise class B provides reserve for demanding thermal conditions. Rotor inertia of 121,0 kg·m² and load inertia of 2980,0 kg·m² are important when designing starting and sizing the mechanical coupling.
Stable output for large process technologies
This eight-pole electric motor uses a design intended for operations where long service life, high operational reliability and good behavior under load are expected. Starting torque reaches 1 times the rated torque, breakdown torque 2,1 times the rated torque and starting current 5,8 times the rated current, which is important information when designing the power supply, protection and torque reserve. In practice, this helps with coordination with converters, switchboards and the technological connection to the driven machine.
Industrial use in demanding units
The motor is used mainly in heavy operations where reliable energy transmission to a large mechanical load is required.
- Main compressor stations in process plants.
- Pumps for large water-supply and cooling systems.
- Fan units for technological and extraction lines.
- Hammer and rolling drives in metallurgy.
- Mills and crushers in the cement industry.
- Belt conveyors with high starting inertia.
- Drum mixers and homogenization units.
- Power drives for auxiliary units in power-plant complexes.
Design prepared for long-term operation
The DE-side bearing consists of the NU238-C3+6040-C3 assembly, while the NDE side uses NU230-C3. This combination supports more precise rotor guidance and works appropriately with a package weight of 5660 kg, which is common for a motor of this size. Weight and rotational parameters must be considered during transport, installation and inspection of the base frame, especially in operations where the equipment is integrated into an existing line.
Service reliability at high outputs
With the H27R-HD-Modular series, VYBO Electric builds on a robust solution that supports stable high-voltage operation, continuous load and demanding starting conditions. For large factories, process technologies and power units, it is important that the motor combines high output, efficient use of energy and a technical solution prepared for service interventions and long intervals between shutdowns. H27R 5004-8-6 is therefore suitable where the drive must maintain long-term performance without unnecessary losses.
