H27R 5601-8-6 provides economical operation in high-power applications where every kilowatt and running stability are monitored. This 700 rpm electric motor with an output of 1400 kW, rated current of 165,6 A and speed of 744 rpm is intended for demanding HV drives in which long-term efficiency and reliable torque reserve are expected.
The H27R-HD-Modular series uses IE4 Super Premium efficiency, which reduces energy losses during continuous operation and supports the economy of the entire drive. The welded steel frame gives the construction high rigidity while remaining more favorable for handling and installation than massive cast-iron solutions. In a category where the total cost of drive technology is also assessed, this is a significant operational benefit.
Efficiency and operational reliability at 6000 V
With a 6000 V supply level, emphasis is placed on insulation stability, thermal reserve and correct starting design. This three-phase electric motor has efficiency of 96 % and a power factor of 0,85, helping reduce losses during long production cycles. Insulation class F together with temperature rise class B provides a solid basis for load in environments with high availability requirements.
Starting, torque and drive protection
Rated torque of 17970 Nm is important for starting and protection design. Starting torque reaches 0,7 times the rated torque, breakdown torque 1,9 times the rated torque and starting current 4,9 times the rated current, so the power supply, starting device and protection should be set correctly. Standard thermal protection and monitoring help monitor the condition of the winding and bearings during operation.
Construction for heavy industry and long cycles
H27R-HD-Modular is an 8-pole electric motor designed for stable low speeds and high torque. Package weight of 7500 kg, rotor inertia of 159,0 kg·m² and load inertia of 3190,0 kg·m² show that this is a robust drive for heavy-duty operation. DE bearing NU238-C3+6040-C3 and NDE bearing NU230-C3 support long-term reliability under high radial and axial demands.
Typical industrial applications
- In metallurgical lines for driving rolling and conveyor assemblies.
- In cement plants for mills and large process-air fans.
- In water-supply stations for high-power pump units.
- In the mining industry for crushers and conveyor systems.
- In power generation for auxiliary technological drives of unit operations.
- In chemical plants for agitators and compressor units with long operating cycles.
